Sea Chicory is a rather special, mild tasting edible seaweed that is brightly coloured and delicately shaped, making it a fun garnish or salad ingredient. Sustainably harvested, naturally dried to preserve nutrients and tested. To re-hydrate, quickly soak in tepid water, stock or juice to soften (it will take on the flavour of what it has been soaked in). It will expand (to several times it's dry size), brighten in colour, and assume a crunchy texture. Avoid soaking for too long. Add straight from the bag to soups. Re-hydrate and add to salads. Use as a delicate, colourful, nutritious garnish. Good source of Iodine.
